So, first there was the comment_fic theme 'A Night on the Town', which I was directed to by aurilly and had great fun with. Then, after I posted the stories back here, a comment from ibroketuesday got us imagining an epic night out involving various characters from fandom. Then, as always, things escalated.

Procrastinating is a remarkable thing. Having pretty much dropped Heroes fandom with its current lameness and been even less enthusiastic about writing fanfic for it (except that Adam AU which still prods my brain occasionally), it just takes a few essays due to suddenly fill me with more plot bunnies than I can handle.

I succumbed to aurilly's pimping, and went and joined comment_fic. She now also insists I post the two stories I wrote in response to her prompts here. As always, I live to serve. They're both on the theme 'A Night on the Town'.

I was supposed to do more work this afternoon, but then I got distracted by the incredibly useful reminder O HEY I'M SUPPOSED TO BE WRITING SOMETHING FOR THE HEROES FIC EXCHANGE. I mean, I knew I had to, I'd just forgotten when the deadline was.

Yeah. The 5th. Time to get cracking!

So I started today and, strangely, it's going AWESOMELY. Like, I've already got 2000 words and many ideas of where to go and what I've already scribbled isn't bad. By 'isn't bad', I mean 'personally thinks is quite good and quite funny but will never say so in case others don't agree'. So I'm just online checking a few details for that (there are some gorgeous coincidences of timing I'm being thrown here) and then will be back to that.

I'm also going to pimp this video by nowhack, because she made it for me and it's SO MANY DIFFERENT KINDS OF AWESOME.

On the other, I'm such a spoiler whore, and I'm already regretting I couldn't wait to see it on TV.
