Exam results!

Short story: I got a 2:1! I get to do my MA!

Long story... I didn't do as well as I would have liked. A couple of my modules, Love and Sex in Ancient Poetry and Higher Latin 3A, I did way worse than I'd expected, and I'm pretty pessimistic. So I'm pretty disappointed, and aslo confused, about those two. But on the other hand, I did way better in a couple of my others than I'd expected, and so just as confused about that. No idea what was going on with the marking this year.

So... 2:1. Degree! Masters! Hurray!

I agree that the marking for L&S was a little lower than I expected given the formatives so don't worry it's not just you!
Ooh, also, are you and your parents attending the Classics drinks? I can't decide whether to go seeing as I generally have v. little to do with the department!

Oh good, so it wasn't just me. I did WORSE in the essay than I did on the formative, which I couldn't get my head round, considering I did the formative pretty much just in one morning.

We probably will, my parents'll be wanting to meet who I'm doing my MA with next year.
